Patient Protect is a UK-based organisation dedicated to supporting medical cannabis patients through advocacy, education and clear guidance around their rights. We help patients navigate issues relating to housing, employment, policing, education, travel and access to prescribed cannabis medicines.

We stand alongside patients when an employer, landlord, venue, school or police force treats a lawful prescription as a problem.

Alex founded and runs Patient Protect, leading casework, patient support and the organisation's advocacy work.

Robert is the lawyer we work alongside, specialising in prescription cannabis. We also work with lawyers at other firms and refer cases on where their expertise, or formal legal representation, is needed.
What we are, and what we are not
Patient Protect provides advocacy, education and expert support. We are not a law firm and we do not provide regulated legal advice. Where a case calls for legal expertise, we can bring legal professionals in to work alongside us on managing your case, and where formal representation is needed we will tell you and refer you to specialists who can act for you.
